I’m David (Michael Cox), an MBA graduate from Liberty University and a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer with a lifelong passion for fitness and athletics. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing between 210 and 215 pounds, I’ve always been active—whether it's dunking a basketball or enjoying indoor cycling for conditioning. Fitness has been my anchor, especially after overcoming challenges like left ventricular hypertrophy and burnout from my senior-level roles in government and the private sector.
Personal Journey
Throughout my journey, I discovered that fitness not only transformed my health but also my mental well-being. It was through dedication to physical health that I reversed my health challenges and reclaimed my life. Now, I'm committed to helping others do the same.
Family and Coaching
As a devoted family man, I’m married with three kids, and I’ve had the privilege of coaching them through their athletic journeys in track, soccer, and basketball. I even led my sixth-grade basketball team to a championship! My personal experience as a coach has shaped my approach to training, emphasizing the importance of tailored programs that meet individual needs.
Training Philosophy
I understand that everyone’s fitness journey is unique, which is why I focus on personalized training for individuals of all ages. Whether you’re looking to improve functional strength, achieve weight loss, or enhance athletic performance, I will meet you where you are and help you reach your goals.
